SHIB holders can purchase shoes

According to an announcement by crypto payment processor BitPay, SHIB holders can use their assets to pay for shoes from the Atheist footwear brand and enjoy 10% off for a limited time.

The brand, Atheist Shoes, was founded by Irishman David Bonney and is headquartered in Berlin.

Web service provider HOSTKEY has also announced the acceptance of cryptocurrencies such as SHIB via BitPay and is currently offering a 10% discount on select servers for new cryptocurrency orders and payments.

Shiba Inu payments are expanding to more merchants worldwide. In early November, SHIB was added to the cryptocurrencies supported on Binance Pay, making it available to merchants around the world supported by Binance Pay.

It also enabled SHIB's accessibility on the Binance marketplace, where users can book hotels with cryptocurrencies, create and send gift cards, participate in Launchpad, or earn rewards with Liquid Swap.

Some companies have partnered with Binance to use the Binance Pay platform, such as ShopDutyFree, Shopping.io, BOLT+, Alchemy Pay, CoinGate, etc. This implies that SHIB payments would also be accepted on this route.

SHIB to gain utility in travel space

This week, crypto-friendly travel platform Travala announced a special offer for SHIB holders. Users who book on Travala through SHIB are eligible for a $25 free travel credit that can be used at any of the more than 3 million hotels and flights on the site.

SHIB payments could also expand further, with payment gateway FCF Pay announcing partnerships with American Airlines and Canadian flag carrier Air Canada. The partnership allows FCF Pay debit cardholders to use 20 stablecoins and SHIB to book flights with these top airlines and pay hundreds of merchants online.
